The monograph “Wrocław Psychology: People and Ideas” is a comprehensive study that thoroughly presents the development of psychology at the University of Wrocław. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach of editors Jolanta Kowal and Kiriakos Chatzipentidis, along with the team of authors, the history, profiles of prominent psychologists, and their contributions to various scientific subdisciplines have been showcased.

The history of painting can be viewed from multiple perspectives. These include changes in style from an art historical
perspective and studies of creativity from an artist's perspective. The discipline of art history attaches importance to the
stylistic features of paintings. Iconography and iconology studies, feminism, psychoanalysis, and visual culture studies in
cultural history and contemporary art history studies are examples of these. The lives of painters, biographical and
autobiographical notes, and the psychological dimension of artistic creativity are also research topics—all deal with how
paintings are created and, most importantly, their relationship. Considering the relationship between paintings as a change
in style and innovation in forms is meaningful for the narrative of painting. These studies' concept sets and theoretical
approaches continue to maintain their importance. This study includes two words other than the key concepts and theories
of painting, which has a long history, and the fields that conduct research on it. These words are 'deletion' and 'accumulation.'
These two words should first be considered in terms of their literal meanings. Accumulating is the conscious accumulation of
something, the accumulation of accumulations creating a pile, cluster, effect, tradition, rule, order, etc. The symbolic meaning
of the word indicates the stylistic acceptance of the art of painting and the possibility of the institution of taste and art to
determine the canonical in terms of taste and culture. Thus, accumulating points to a cultural world that includes the painter from his singular existence to an expanding painting universe. This is an expansion, a cultural order produced by repetition,
a state of taste and knowledge, at least specific to painting. Expansion gains its meaning in terms of the institution of art in
the context of painting. Accumulating is the keyword of a world of production and preservation that includes art schools,
museums, and areas that think about art. 'Deletion' is the equivalent of the painter erasing the form on the surface, erasing
the given rules, and experiencing a singular creation process in a way that erases it. 'Erasing' can be considered a provocative,
critical, innovative way for the painter to determine his position in the painting universe. As a matter of self, it can be
considered as a keyword of an ideological perspective. The act of 'deletion,' in its simplest sense, corresponds to the painter's
selective use of the accumulated culture of painting that has been preserved while creating his visual language and to the
reduction of the importance given to it for himself in the name of adjusting the power of some elements. In short, in terms
of the painter's act, erasing indicates the personal attitude towards a situation that can be called the universe of painting and
whose factual equivalent can be seen in museums, galleries, and literature.
The study considers changes in terms of cultural and intellectual history with the words of erasure and accumulation. It tries
to show the meaning of accumulation and erasure factually with the selected points of interest, extending from ancient
culture to modern and postmodern culture. Accordingly, the accumulation of classical art is evident with the necessity of the
powerful world of vision surrounding the painter. However, modern culture is the stage in which the painter consciously
begins to erase and displace what has been accumulated. Painters exhibit a critical position in transforming the painting style
at this stage. Modern painters bring out the personal, such as individual choices, experience, and expression, against illusion.
In the postmodern period, deletion is seen as a conscious exaggeration that selects the characteristics of the accumulated
style. The study examines the examples it selects within this theoretical scope. It is seen that there is a conscious relationship
and influence between Théodore Géricault and Eugéne Delacroix. This influence should be considered as the two painters
being in the same world of vision in the modern sense. It is seen that Êdouard Manet and the painter interpret the
accumulations of the style in the modern sense with erasures.
The two groups of examples have a common ground, with the museum space being a memory in the modern sense. Delacroix
used the images of Géricault that he saw in exhibitions in his painting. Manet also unbalanced the relationships between
forms with the appreciation of the classical works he saw in the museum space. It is seen that a continuity relationship can
be established between the Caravaggio and Gentileshi couple in classical painting. Gentileschi had to act in the same world
of vision as Caravaggio in his work, which is considered to have psychobiographical characteristics in art history.
On the other hand, it was found that the relationship between Titian and El Greco is a notable example since it coincides with
the phase in which the world of vision was disrupted. It is seen that El Greco exhibits a character that preserves the content
of Titian's representation style of his painting but organizes it with his understanding of form. Monet's painting has a strong
influence on deletion as Manet's. Monet's paintings include a personal interpretation that disrupts the illusion and order of
form in painting. With the beginning of the twentieth century, modern painting has created itself through the act of deletion
and has reconsidered the rules of painting that show canonical features accumulated symbolically on the surface. In this
context, the study includes the paintings of Paul Cezanne, Wassily Kandinsky, George Braque, Kazimir Malevich, Henri
Matisse, Francis Bacon, and Jackson Pollock.
All these examples show that modern painting has a personal creative act system realized with the artist's acts of deletion.
In postmodern painting, the artist's eclecticism has found its character with an aesthetics of quotation where styles are no
longer weighted. Jeff Koons and David Salle, selected in the study, are given as examples in this regard. The study addresses
the relationship between the symbolic accumulation of painting and the actual fiction that takes place on the surface of the
painting with the symbolic meanings of the expressions of deletion and accumulation. Paintings hide this accumulation on

Este texto objetiva discutir a constituição do sujeito e do coletivo com base no tema da alteridade. O tema será trabalhado com base no texto freudiano Totem e tabu, pois o consideramos como nuclear para as análises acerca da gênese da cultura e da civilização, particularmente em relação à fratria. Inicialmente, discutimos o conceito de alteridade, tendo como referencial teórico a filosofia de Lévinas. A seguir, o acento recai na leitura freudiana de Totem e Tabu, na qual são ressaltados os lugares fundamentais do Pai, da Lei, da fratria e das leis que acordam a convivência entre os semelhantes, sendo destacadas as contribuições lacanianas. Concluímos que a alteridade constitui conceito nuclear nas abordagens acerca do humano e de seus destinos singulares e sociais, podendo ser nefastos os efeitos do aniquilamento do Outro e do outro.

A partir de um breve histórico de dispositivos clínicos utilizados no campo da saúde mental, discute-se a prática do Acompanhamento Terapêutico. Tal discussão se instrumentaliza da transferência, como conceito psicanalítico. Levantamos as hipóteses de que nesse trabalho realizado cotidianamente fora dos moldes do consultório, a fala de um usuário instiga a uma articulação entre teoria e prática e que a própria psicanálise pode dela adquirir um novo saber fazer clínico.

Tema de interesse para a clínica, a investigação das psicopatologias somáticas exige reelaborações metapsicológicas que contemplem os lugares do corpo e do afeto. Com a ênfase da psicanálise no recalque, a problemática do afeto teria ficado em segundo plano, causando uma lacuna comprometedora dos rumos dos atos clínicos. Resgatar as elaborações freudianas sobre o afeto, especialmente sua supressão, pode abrir espaço para a escuta da dor dos corpos enfermos. Neste ensaio, investigamos inicialmente a metapsicologia freudiana do afeto para, em seguida, propor elaborações a respeito dos destinos do corpo nas formações psicossomáticas.

Este artigo discute o campo de atuação do psicanalista em institui ções, tomando como refer ência o trabalho em grupo com crianças em uma clínica-escola. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir do projeto “Oficina terapêutica Conto e Traço”, centrado no atendimento de crian ças em grupo, com base nos pressupostos teórico-clínicos da psicanálise, tendo sido privilegiadas as atividades de contar e desenhar histórias. O estudo deu ênfase à discussão sobre o encaminhamento clínico das queixas e sobre os agenciamentos institucionais que atravessavam a clínica. Concluímos pela importância da interven- ção psicanalítica extra-consult ório em instituições, ressaltando a escuta em grupo como dispositivo de agenciamento de subjetividades.

As a supportive ally of the LGBT community, I am pleased to be a candidate for Member at Large representative to the Division 44 Executive Committee. If elected, I would be a strong advocate for continuing the many good works I have witnessed over the years as a member of the Division. I would support the existing committee structure and task forces and recommend modifications as needs change. I would advocate for the continuation of a strong presence in APA, the expansion of our influence in public policy related to sexual orientation and gender identity, and increased cooperation with other APA divisions and federal agencies. I would recognize and support the contributions of members at the national, state and local levels and promote additional financial sustenance for innovative research in LGBT psychology. The Division's recognition of the spiritual concerns of sexual minorities is refreshing to me since several of my previous and recent publications are related to faith and belief. In 2008 the Division honored me with the award for Distinguished Professional Contribution. I have been a Fellow of the Division since 2004 and was co-recipient of the Distinguished Book Award in 2003. I hope to be able to carry on the sound traditions of the Division, as well as to play a stronger role in the future direction LGBT psychology. p .

A lexander Berkman's 1912 Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist is a significant book in the development of American anti-prison politics, not despite, but because of its ambivalent approach to prisons. I trace through Berkman's book and archive an unresolved tension between two approaches to the prison: advocacy for political prisoners, whereby the prison is a state tool for suppressing radical ideas, and advocacy against the politics of prisons, whereby the prison is an "aggravated counterpart" of social structures and a site of struggle. Berkman's ambivalence between these approaches amid his memoirs and activism exemplifies the complex development of U.S. thinking on prisons and enduring tensions in contemporary prison politics.

L' autisme fait l' objet de nombreux débats dans les médias, et l' analyse des discours montre des distorsions récurrentes au regard des avancées scientifiques mises en exergue dans la littérature biomédicale internationale. Nous avons procédé à l' analyse systématique des approches de l' autisme dans la presse spécialisée destinée aux travailleurs sociaux français entre 1989 et 2014, et comparé les résultats obtenus à une étude récente sur les conceptions du Trouble Déficitaire de l'Attention avec Hyperactivité dans ce même champ. L' analyse des discours sur l' autisme, et plus généralement sur les troubles mentaux et psychosociaux dans la presse spécialisée destinée aux travailleurs sociaux, montre que les facteurs sociaux pourtant fortement impliqués dans ces pathologies ne sont jamais présentés, tandis qu'ils sont largement argumentés dans la littérature internationale, et peuvent faire l' objet de politiques et de pratiques socioéducatives spécifiques. La plupart des conceptions de l' autisme présentées aux travailleurs sociaux français relèvent de la sphère thérapeutique, et laissent apparaître une médicalisation croissante du travail social, nous permettant d' en interroger les enjeux de pratique et de formation.

Psychoanalysis has produced an ensemble of institutions, expertise, procedures, and practices for rendering the psychoanalytic subject legible and, through this, psychic life as an actionable site of intervention, dislocation, and struggle. This article examines how diverse psychoanalytic communities in Buenos Aires have produced unique grammars that influence how individuals articulate ideas about health and well‐being. Descriptive, culturally specific, historically informed, and always provisional, this grammar is empirically grounded in lived experience. Through presenting several case studies, I flesh out how this grammar, as a deictic expression of/for the unconscious is deployed, reworked, and embodied in everyday interactions. I demonstrate how psychic life is enmeshed within social and political experience. There's something lurking at the edge of language. A murmur in the flesh, a disturbance just beneath the grid of meaning, pressing against the confines of discourse. For psychoanalysis, this isn't just a curiosity-it's a rupture, a confrontation with what language cannot hold. And it's deeply embodied. To think psychoanalytically, as Derek Hook invites us to do, is to reckon with a domain that precedes and resists the symbolic-an ontological space of raw corporeality. The body here is not just flesh and bone but a site of excess, a stubborn remnant that eludes capture by words. It's what Lacan calls the Real, Kristeva the abject, and Freud the uncanny. It is the place where meaning collapses, and what remains is dread. Where Language Fails, the Body Begins In the psychoanalytic tradition, particularly post-Freud, the body is more than a passive vessel-it's the problem to representation. It is the limit-case of discourse. According to Elizabeth Grosz, the intertwining of the body and signifying systems is what allows for the production of stable identity and meaning. But what happens when that stability falters? Moments of horror, nausea, and existential vertigo often signal this rupture-moments when discourse reaches its limit, when language fumbles and cannot contain what is happening. Here, the body "speaks" in a different register, not through articulation but through affect. This is not the body as medical object, but the body as a wound, as Kristeva's abject-a liminal horror that draws us toward the place "where meaning collapses.

Laughter, a term that at first sight seems incompatible with the Holocaust, has overcome some seemingly insurmountable barriers and has paradoxically become the essence of many literary and cinematographic works dealing with this painful subject. The aim of this article is to present the role of humor in the transmission of the memory of the Holocaust from selected novels by Belgian writer Alain Berenboom. By analyzing his works, we will show that laughter makes it possible to break with the horror experienced during the Shoah and to protect oneself from a real trauma. We will also highlight its role in demystifying and revealing the illusions of post-war society that can lead to its destruction.

The Metamorphosis is a novella written by Franz Kafka. This novel tells about a young man named Gregor Samsa who has experienced alienation. This research aims to understand the effects of alienation experienced by Gregor Samsa as a major character in The Metamorphosis. Erich Fromm's theory about three mechanisms of escape is used to analyse the effort of Gregor Samsa in solving his psychological problem of alienation. Modern man usually uses three mechanisms of escape by Erich Fromm to reduce the feeling of fear and isolation of burdened freedom when they want to be free. This research uses qualitative research in which the data are in the form of words and sentences in this novella. This study applies the documentary method as the technique of data collection. The data can be taken from various sources, such as documents, books, and journals. This research shows that Gregor Samsa's alienation has influenced his entire life, family, and society.

This research presents a web-based application developed to address the issue of "Giraffing" during examinations. The application in addition to the automating the examination seating arrangement so as to ensure that students enrolled in the same courses are not seated next to each other during the examination, it also includes a messaging feature that sends text messages to the students a five minutes before the start of the examination. These messages serve as reminders and provide important instructions, such as the examination time, location, and any specific materials required. By proactively communicating with the students, the application aims to minimize instances of lateness and confusion, ensuring that students are well-prepared and informed before entering the examination hall. The application, built using Laravel and Vue.js, incorporates key modules to facilitate the management and execution of the seating arrangement process. The greedy graph colouring algorithm and connection matrix served as the underlying methods for generating optimal seating assignments, effectively minimizing proximity among students with shared course enrolments. The message feature was facilitated by Termii API. To evaluate the application's functionality, thorough testing was conducted within the university environment. A selected number of students participated in the testing phase, ensuring the application's effectiveness and performance in real-world scenarios. Notably, the application successfully fulfilled all requirements, including the generation of a graphical representation of the seating arrangement and the timely delivery of text messages to students. These messages provided students with essential examination details and other relevant information, sent precisely five minutes before their scheduled examinations.

This short paper is an attempt to intersect my reading of Alexander Kremer's key ideas in his article Pragmatists on the Everyday Aesthetic Experience (2020) with my previous thoughts on banality as an aesthetic quality experienced by the modern subject in her everyday life. My contribution tries to interconnect key theoretical and artistic conceptions of banality (as discussed for example by Charles Baudelaire, Hannah Arendt, Marie Darrieussecq, Edward Keinholz) with Shusterman's somaesthetics and subsequently to reveal another possibility of rethinking the relationship between aesthetics and ethics.

Resumo: A investigação que culminou neste artigo diz respeito ao estatuto da angústia observado em uma parte significativa dos sujeitos atendidos pelo NEPECC (UFRJ). Buscaremos destacar a especificidade deste afeto nas neuroses atuais, principalmente, com respeito à interface entre uma invasão intensiva e uma insuficiência de elaboração psíquica. Nosso objetivo é examinar a hipótese de que a neurose de angústia pode contribuir para uma maior compreenssão deste afeto em algumas modalidades de sofrimento psíquico, com que nos deparamos na contemporaneidade. This paper provides a general method to translate a standard economic model with a large number of agents into a field-formalism model. This formalism preserves the system's interactions and microeconomic features at the individual level but reveals the emergence of collective states. We apply this method to a simple microeconomic framework of investors and firms. Both macro and micro aspects of the formalism are studied. At the macro-scale, the field formalism shows that, in each sector, three patterns of capital accumulation may emerge. A distribution of patterns across sectors constitute a collective state. Any change in external parameters or expectations in one sector will affect neighbouring sectors, inducing transitions between collective states and generating permanent fluctuations in patterns and flows of capital. Although changes in expectations can cause abrupt changes in collective states, transitions may be slow to occur. Due to its relative inertia, the real economy is bound to be more affected by these constant variations than the financial markets. At the micro-scale we compute the transition functions of individual agents and study their probabilistic dynamics in a given collective state, as a function of their initial state. We show that capital accumulation of an individual agent depends on various factors. The probability associated with each firm's trajectories is the result of several contradictory effects: the firm tends to shift towards sectors with the greatest long-term return, but must take into account the impact of its shift on its attractiveness for investors throughout its trajectory. Since this trajectory depends largely on the average capital of transition sectors, a firm's attractiveness during its relocation depends on the relative level of capital in those sectors. Moreover, the firm must also consider the effects of competition in the intermediate sectors that tends to oust under-capitalized firm towards sectors with lower average capital. For investors, capital allocation depends on their short and long-term returns and investors will tend to reallocate their capital to maximize both. The higher their level of capital, the stronger the re-allocation will be.

A psicose infantil é uma psicopatologia severa, comprometedora do desenvolvimento da criança em termos de linguagem, interação social, brincar, entre outros. Na perspectiva psicanalítica, a função materna e paterna tem um importante papel na estruturação do quadro psicótico. Neste trabalho, propôsse apresentar o caso clínico de uma menina de dez anos com diagnóstico de psicose infantil, discutindo alguns aspectos relativos à evolução dos atendimentos, bem como a inclusão parental na psicoterapia infantil e às mudanças no vínculo mãe-filha. Levantaram-se reflexões acerca da relação com o Outro na psicose infantil e quais as possibilidades dessas crianças de se constituir subjetivamente. This article positions Olivia Laing’s novel To The River (2011) as a feminist alternative to the patriarchally-coded concepts of psychogeography and flânerie, which, I argue, do not allow for female inclusion. By demonstrating how the text displays theories of material ecofeminism, I establish how To The River works to determine commonly accepted ontological binary divisions as, in fact, permeable. That is, instead of rejecting her female connection to the body and to nature, Laing fully embraces it, walking into nature and writing her lived experience. By walking into nature specifically, Laing is able to walk out of phallogocentric urban space, both physically and metaphysically. In doing so, she resists the structures of male urban space, exploring spaces in nature that instead allow her the potential to write her mind and her body. She rejects the reason, structure and control of oppressive patriarchy, walking and writing around these structures. She does this by “going beneath”...

Bencana Gempa yang telah memporak-porandakan Cianjur pada tanggal 21 November tahun 2022 telah menyisakan berbagai persoalan pada masyarakat yang terdampak gempa. Bukan hanya kerugian material, permasalahan psikologis pun muncul dan dirasakan penyintas yan g menghadapi situasi sulit sebagai dampak bencana. Sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Jayabaya Jakarta bekerjasama dengan Universitas Putra Indonesia Cianjur ikut berpartisipasi memberikan pendampingan psikososial bagi penyintas bencana. Melalui observasi lapangan yang ditindaklanjuti dengan pengukuran tingkat stres menunjukkan hasil bahwa perlu diberikan pembekalan kepada masyarakat yang bersifat pendekatan komunitas dalam bentuk pelatihan Mindfulness. Pelaksanaan pelatihan telah diberikan pada 8 lokasi dengan peserta yang berbeda-beda dalam rentang waktu antara 21 Desember 2022 sampai 4 Januari 2023.

The goal of this text is to produce a psychoanalytic approach to political discourse and the discourse of capitalism; to formalize the problems that affect the subjectivity of our time. The argumentative method is used to reach the results and the conclusions for the report of the annual period. We distinguish the political scene of the real political, shown at the event. Every political system is defined by the way of the sacred that is proper. The classic political discourse suffers a crisis and is replaced by the discourse of capitalism, producing new effects on subjectivity and the social field.

El marco estándar de la cosmología requiere evaluar el entrelazamiento cuántico de los bosones Planck primordiales en un mismo estado cuántico. Una retroalimentación termodinámica regula volumen comóvil, a través de la ley de Hubble, respondiendo al acoplamiento del flujo de energía primordial con la dimensionalidad impresa al espacio-tiempo. La formación de pares en la que la coherencia entre los mismos estados cuánticos se manifestará en una superposición oscilatoria. Por lo tanto, dos posiciones casi simultáneas desplazan un valor de la longitud de onda. Así, un pequeño tiempo idéntico conforma el espacio-tiempo, separando la distancia-evento entre las interacciones de dos fotones. El entrelazamiento cuántico actúa como un potencial oscilatorio de coherencia-decoherencia disipativa, con conservación de momento entre la masa en reposo y la inercial. Así, moderando el incremento de entropía en función del cuello de botella que es la velocidad de la luz: c, y conservar el balance entre curvaturas abiertas y cerradas, o sea, planitud de la expansión.

O texto desenvolve uma discussão sobre os limites entre a literatura e a psicanálise, a partir da noção de "real" que esses dois campos encerram. Propõe-se que o surrealismo e a psicanálise se tangenciam em alguns pontos assinalados pelo privilégio dado a algumas categorias, como a escrita, a letra, o traço, o real.

The capacity of decision-making groups to integrate and understand information is a major factor in how efficient they are. Therefore, groups that use decision-making would frequently produce decisions of higher quality, especially when they have task portrayals that emphasize clarification of data pertinent to the choice made in the absence of direct management. In the current work, we suggest two things. At first, when assignment portrayals are shared, deciding with most of them will be more e ffective and secondly, his advantageous effect will be more noticeable when there is a high level of management confusion. These theories were tested utilizing a sample of groups that participated in a challenge for 7 weeks, carrying out a business modeling. As anticipated, sharing task portrayals increased the potency of majority rule, and this effect was greater when there was uncertainty in the leadership. The results expand on and refine previous studies on decision-making guidelines, the function of portrayals of cooperative work, and leadership clarification. This proposed system uses ANOVA to obtain results.

The special section entitled "Contemporary Structural Psychoanalysis and Relational Psychoanalysis," in Psychoanalytic Psychology 12(1) was a fertile, highly informative collection of papers dedicated primarily to explicating, comparing and contrasting, and often defending the views of the contributors who, for the most part, would designate themselves as classical, in opposition to relational. Although the volume was an exciting, interesting, and important contribution, it raised far more questions for me than it answered. Above all, it highlighted a problematic tendency much too prevalent in our field, among clinicians who would rigidly encamp themselves around particular claims of allegiance in variously defended quarters, declaring (either explicitly or implicitly) exclusive possession of the genuine article of psychoanalytic knowledge in toto. In presenting this ongoing observation, my criticisms lay not with one particular group or another, but rather with our field as a whole. As psychoanalysis undergoes continued assaults upon its integrity as a bona fide intellectual discipline and practice, by persons and forces largely outside our field, it seems that we continue to induce a greater ongoing trauma upon ourselves from within. For however fruitful the genuine exchange of psychoanalytic ideas may be when undertaken with the open mind that Freud considered the sine qua non of any psychoanalytic endeavor, we seem as individuals and as a group to be constricted dialogically by the most primitive forms of defensive splitting and infantile rivalry that make true exchange an impossibility. Mi succede ultimamente (troppo) spesso di leggere pensieri e riflessioni che ripropongono, sotto diversa veste e in qualche modo camuffati o dissimulati, quegli stessi pensieri e quelle stesse riflessioni che, dai tempi antichi ad un passato anche recente, hanno nutrito l'antigiudaismo cristiano e aperto le porte all'antisemitismo. Quello che mi sorprende non è tanto il fatto che intellettuali di varia provenienza cedano al fascino di un pensiero che ci attraversa da duemila anni e che ci ha plasmato, e che lo ripropongano con nuove ed accattivanti teorie interpretative; è piuttosto il fatto che nessuno, ebreo o cristiano, si alzi e, ammaestrato dal Qohelet e dal retaggio di un passato di dolore, dica: "Ma questa cosa già l'ho sentita e so da dove viene e dove può portare!" Mi è successo di nuovo oggi 3 aprile, Sabato Santo e quindi giorno di silenzio e di riflessione, nel leggere un articolo di Massimo Recalcati, pubblicato nelle pagine culturali del quotidiano "la Repubblica", dal titolo che non lascia spazio a dubbi: "Pasqua, la vita oltre la Legge". Nell'occhiello così si precisa: "Una storia di speranza", e nel catenaccio, con un peso maggiore dato alle parole: "Con la resurrezione Gesù ci mostra che la forza, il talento, il desiderio sono più forti dei rigidi precetti. Come confermano Paolo di Tarso e Agostino". Si sa che occhiello e catenaccio sono (quasi sempre) redazionali e che, quindi, non esprimono in senso pieno il pensiero dell'Autore, di conseguenza, per non essere sviati dalla triade impropria: "la forza, il talento, il desiderio", è bene riflettere sul contenuto dell'articolo che comunque invita a riscoprire in noi e per noi l'esserci devastante della resurrezione. L'idea di fondo è la seguente. C'è una Legge che comprime l'uomo e che si fa costrizione morale; una Legge vuota perché non si volge alla vita ma cerca solo di contenere con la logica masochistica del sacrificio e della proibizione tutto ciò che dovrebbe portare l'uomo ad essere se stesso, pienamente e per sempre. Quella che l'Autore definisce "nozione deuteronomica della Legge" (e sottolineo deuteronomica), è la Torah, vale a dire: il cuore e l'essenza dell'ebraismo. A questa Legge si contrappone una nuova Legge, "la Legge della buona novella", che sovverte il senso e la direzione di quella Legge/Torah che sembra non sufficiente e non adeguata perché priva della grazia, come dice Paolo di Tarso, ma che è (non lo si dimentichi) dono di Dio. In quanto tale, solo il Figlio di Dio (e, quindi, Gesù non in quanto uomo ma in quanto Dio) può dare, partendo dalla risurrezione che libera la vita, una Legge nuova e altra, definitiva perché (Nietzsche docet) extramorale. In cosa consiste il cambio di paradigma? Diciamolo con le parole dell'Autore: "Ebbene Gesù ha sovvertito questo metro di giudizio con decisione: la vita giusta è la vita viva, è la vita che desidera la vita e che sa generare frutti". In tutto ciò si nasconde l'idea che Gesù sia il superamento della Legge/Torah, come insegnerebbe il detto riportato da Marco: "Il sabato è fatto per l'uomo e non l'uomo per il sabato" (Mc 2,24); di conseguenza ne deriva che ciò che da Gesù nasce (movimento gesuano postpasquale) è il verus Israel che prende il posto di quell'Israel che è rimasto legato alla costrizione della Legge, alla Legge senza grazia. Ma anche se così fosse, in cosa consiste per l'Autore la grande e sconvolgente novità introdotta da Gesù e dalla sua resurrezione? La resurrezione ci insegna che "la vita è più viva della morte, e ciò consente di uscire dalle tenebre del sepolcro e ricominciare". Ricominciare da dove?

The gustatory, olfactory, and trigeminal systems are anatomically separated. However, they interact cognitively to give rise to oral perception, which can significantly affect health and quality of life. We built a Supervised Learning (SL) regression model that, exploiting participants’ features, was capable of automatically analyzing with high precision the self-ratings of oral sensitivity of healthy participants and patients with chemosensory loss, determining the contribution of its components: gustatory, olfactory, and trigeminal. CatBoost regressor provided predicted values of the self-rated oral sensitivity close to experimental values. Patients showed lower predicted values of oral sensitivity, lower scores for measured taste, spiciness, astringency, and smell sensitivity, higher BMI, and lower levels of well-being. Intersexuality questions how human gender definition occurs. As a baby is born, a sex, boy or girl, is assigned through genital observation. However, the simplicity to assign the gender disappears when, as the genitals are observed, their conformation is not clear. Genitals are ambiguous when their appearance imposes difficulties, or even an impossibility to assign a sex to a child. This is the case for children born with some degree of deformity or any Sexual Differentiation Disorders (SDD). Such fact places a strain, both on the parents and on those who will assist the child. The complexity of the problem demands that the child be assisted by an interdisciplinary team composed of a pediatrician, an endocrinologist, a surgeon and a psychologist in addition to a team of diagnostics experts. A study is undertaken in order to understand what caused the Genital Ambiguity (GA) and, therefore, make sex definition possible. When the SDD diagnosis is established early in life, it can cause severe angst on the parents or even the family. That is because it is the family who will be held responsible for what happens to the child. The name choice and the civil registry is the parents' responsibility. They must make a choice. The parents decide if there will be an investigation in order to make the biological sex clear, or if they will allow the child to grow so that they can define their own sex, based on the assumption that nature itself may decide the path towards sexual clarity. Although possible, that is a perilous path to follow, since biology has already given hints that something has happened that prevented the sexual identification already at birth. The article deals with the main discoveries and psychoanalytic concepts in relation to sexual constitution and its workings in order to clarify the question that has guided and accompanied us along the way: does sexual ambiguity interfere in the assumption of sex made by the subject? Clinical medicine teaches us how the subjects have answered the question: Am I a boy or a girl?

Deleuze and Guattari are widely cited and referenced in a particular field-qualitative research in education. However, there does not seem to be an obvious connection, and tracing one involves contingent steps in academic politics as well as intellectual history. The very nature of deleuzian writing aims to break with conventional academic thought, and the works themselves display classic symptoms of traditional French 'academic discourse'. These characteristics particularly affect the most popular book for qualitative researchers-A Thousand Plateaus (ATP) (Deleuze and Guattari, 1987). This book presents formidable problems to any modern reader and there are a number of suggestions available about how students might read it. Six are considered, including one of my own, and these are critically evaluated.

Se discuten las nuevas Bases Técnicas del Servicio Nacional de Menores (Sename) sobre políticas de adopción en la infancia, desde el pensamiento del psicoanalista Donald Winnicott. Se plantea que la teoría y clínica winnicottianas no se comprenden bien si no se tiene en cuenta su ética, que subraya el deseo e historia del niño y sus padres.Las consecuencias de esta posición son relevantes como instrumento de análisis crítico en tanto permite desentrañar la noción de infancia que fundamenta tales bases técnicas. Adicionalmente, este trabajo revitaliza las concepciones del psicoanalista inglés, al mostrar que su lectura aún puede iluminar nuestra manera de pensar las problemáticas de la infancia, incluso si estas se circunscriben a la realidad chilena actual.

In their edited volume, That Obscure Subject of Desire: Freud's Female Homosexual Revisited, Lesser and Schoenberg have unearthed an "obscure article about desire," compiling various reactions to one of the few cases of female homosexuality in Freud's oeuvre. Lesser's introduction sets the historical stage by describing Freud's Vienna, anti-Semitism, and his outsider status as a Jew. Freud's status as a Jewish man is seen as essential to conscious and unconscious attitudes toward gender and sexuality. His 1920 paper, "The psychogenesis of a case of homosexuality in a woman," opens the volume. A section devoted to critiques of Freud's paper by academic scholars from the social sciences and humanities comes next, followed by numerous psychoanalytic writings and a closing discussion. The collected papers all respond to a question that deLauretis poses in quoting Freud, "'She changed into a man and took her mother in place of her father as the object of her love'-what's wrong with that?" (p. 41). The contributors to this volume are in agreement about the answer: nothing. The authors uniformly concur that Freud's analysis of this case and this young woman needs to be revised. The critiques are similar, with many of the contributors taking up a particular issue or metaphor as their starting point, but all clearly seeing the need for depathologizing lesbianism. The academic scholars ask several important questions that psychoanalysts have begun to answer in recent years. The volume begins with Freud's article written in 1920 and describes the case of an 18-year-old "girl." She is never given a pseudonym, remaining nameless and deprived of an essential subjectivity. "The girl," as she is referred to, is from a well-to-do family and was brought to Freud by her father for her pursuit of an older society woman-a 28-year-old "cocotte" who lived with a married female lover while carrying on several heterosexual liaisons. In this book review, the form and function of what the writing is doing in Lauren Berlant and Kathleen Stewart's The Hundreds is one of the many points of focus. Following the lines of posthuman, new materialist, and affect theories, the poems (what the authors refer to as makings) offer a fresh and lively engagement with academic scholarship. This is a scholarship interwoven with creativity presenting an elsewhere of form for the merging of academic and creative thought. Berlant and Stewart use engaging ideas to offer their book as an encounter and allow for interactive opportunities for their readers. While this is a concise book at 173 pages, it has no shortage of depth and creativity, concepts that the reviewer explores.

A defining tenet of Jung’s approach to psychotherapy is that the therapy is more than a dialogue between the psyche of the patient and that of the therapist. There is an invisible but active third perspective in the room: that of the unconscious, representing a viewpoint that, though shared by the therapeutic dyad, has its own autonomy and objectivity. Following Bion, psychoanalyst James Grotstein has said that in each session the analyst must freshly specify the anxiety that is present. Expressions of the unconscious, as in dreams, active imagination, and artistic products, tend to be very helpful in this task, sometimes calling attention to what is at the heart of the anxiety and sometimes reframing the situation to show that there is a limit to how much a particular anxiety has to teach us.
