Hajdúk fehérben. A szabolcsi hajdúvárosok és a váradi blokád 1703–1708

Hajdús in white. The Hajdú towns of Szabolcs and the blockade of Várad 1703–1708 In our study, we seek the answer to the question of how the Szabolcs towns belonging to the central area ruled by the Kurucs participated in the siege around Nagyvárad during the Rákóczi War of Independence. We cannot, and cannot, undertake to, provide a complete presentation of the battles around Várad within the framework of this study. In our paper, we only wish to cover two important aspects: the military services provided by the towns between 1703 and 1708, which were related to the Várad blockade, and the military activities of the Hajdúváros cavalry regiment during the same period, focusing mainly on the Partium region.
